Getting Started with Metis M.2

This guide is for customers who have a Metis AIPU M.2 module. It links everything you need to get up and running: system compatibility, hardware and software installation, CAD files, and regulatory certifications.

System compatibility​

First, make sure you have a compatible system. As a standard M.2 M-key 2280 module, the Metis M.2 fits a wide variety of systems. For full compatibility, check that your host has enough Z-height and power delivery.

Installation​

Install the module following the Metis M.2 installation guide. Each host has its own procedure, so also refer to your system's user manual.

Next, install the Voyager SDK, which enables inference with Metis (drivers, evaluation tools, and APIs). Clone the Voyager SDK GitHub repository and run the install script, following the install guide. Then try the first inference walkthrough, and see the SDK documentation for an overview.
